Surveying the Geographic Coordinates  for airport-based and flight-based Air-Navigation Radio Aids

         The “Geographic Coordinates of Airport-based and Flight-based Air-Navigation Radio Aids Surveying Project” in 2014 is a survey and measurement through Global Positioning System (GPS) or Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and Total Station measurement method. Field measurements include the survey of horizontal coordinates of tie points to be used as measurement backsight and total station backsight, by using satellite control points for horizontal survey in the airport and verifying correctness through adjustment with the International GNSS Service. In addition, the new backsights are made, in case the satellite control points for horizontal survey in the airport have some defects, in order to survey and measure geographic coordinates of airport-based and flight-based air-navigation radio aids as follows:

- Doppler Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Radio Range (DVOR)
- Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Radio Range (VOR)
- Distance Measuring Equipment (DME)
- Instrument Landing System (ILS), which consists of
- Glide Path (GP)
- Localizer (LLZ)
- Outer Marker (OM)
- Middle Marker (MM)
- Runway Threshold
