GISTDA push forward the use of Geo-information Technology in managing sustainable natural resource and environment in Trat province.  

      On February 8, 2017 at Trat See Thong Meeting Room, Trat Town Hall, GISTDA has teamed up with Sustainable Development Foundation to an on-site operation in Trat province; conduct a meeting with all associates in the community, Amphoe, and provincial level in order to “push forward the role of Geo-information Technology in managing sustainable natural resource and environment in Trat province.” On this occasion, Mr.Chayana Eaimsaeng, provincial governor of Trat has participated the meeting.       
      Dr. Chaowalit Silapathong, Deputy Director of GISTDA led the team in introducing a model of using Geo-information Technology in integrated managing sustainable coastal resource to enhance the work based on database of Trat province and to build Space Technological Machinery and Geoinformatics as a tool in the cooperation. Also, in order to utilize GISTDA data to fulfill the missing part and to enhance the efficiency to Trat province by the relevant department in the province proposing the issue which are coastal erosion, preserving and restoring marine resource, preserving dolphin, dispersant from fishing boat, and etc which GISTDA is prompt with data to support all departments in order to utilize and manage each area for the purpose that GISTDA data will help solve the problem correctly so that Trat will have strong natural resource and as sustainable development of the nation in the future.
