 Dr. Somchet Thinapong, Chairman of GISTDA Executive Board accompanied by Dr. Anond Snidvongs, Executive Director of GISTDA has been invited to participate as a speaker at the Forum on Earth Observation Systems for Nation Building, which is co-organised by Geospatial Media and Communications (formerly known as GIS Development), International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) during Geospatial World Forum (GWF). The forum is on 23^rd April, 2012 in Amsterdam, The Netherland. The title of his presentation was “Pre-Tracking Incoming Flood 2012 by Satellite Imageries in Thailand”.

Moreover, GISTDA has joined the exhibition at the GWF 2012 with the theme of ‘Geospatial Industry & World Economy’

Geospatial World Forum scheduled from 23^rd - 27^th April, 2012, is a gathering of about2500 professionals from all over the world who get together to discuss and deliberate on various aspects of geospatial industry.
