The National Spatial Data Infrastructure Portal and the Clearinghouse

GISTDA and relevant parties, particularly those with the Fundamental Geographic Data Set : FGDS, jointly inaugurated the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Portal and the Clearinghouse on 9 February 2012 at the IMPACT Convention Center. In this, the MOST Minister and GISTDA Chairman of the Board also presided over the opening ceremony as well.
The main objective was to provide the retrieving and exchanging the NSDI Portal and Clearinghouse data among users, with up-to-date data, under the auspice of the National GIS Committee, which GISTD served as the secretary.
These standard data would be not only serve the public and private sectors but also the academic circle as well.
