The Ministry of Science and Technology, along with agencies, organized a Merit Making to celebrate the year 2012 on 5 January at the MOST premise. The chairman of the event, Minister of Science and Technology, and executives from agencies, including acting GISTDA director-general, offered food stuff to the monks in this as well.
